What ever next?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMIzuTWbfRw&feature=related Well, this is taking me back to my teens. I live on a hill overlooking the most beautiful mainline in England and I cannot deny that I am getting drawn back to these wonderful machines. Used to watch expresses like these from my bedroom window as they passed through Borough Green Station. Thank you for posting the link. David

I agree the Bulleid pacifics were some of the finest locos ever built. You've just reminded me that I have some excellent PSOV DVDs featuring Tangmere. I am just inserting one into the player, sitting back in a reclining chair, after pouring out an 18 year old Mortlach. I wish you all a very good evening :D :D

Hi Tim, I don;t know whether to be happy (that you are thinking about staying Germanic) or sad (that you have a dud locomotive)! John

Thanks for the link Tim - feel the same as you about the Bullied's (except that it took me back to my pre-teens !). Nice clips that brought on a pair of moist eyes !
