Weinert couplers
My Weinert couplers has arrived. I was planing to use these purely as cosmetic purposes just like in the photo below: However, as seen below, a spring and a brass rod also came with it that I have no clue of what they are for. There is nothing mentioned abt these on the leaflet that it came with. Anybody any ideas? Erkut baykal

The hook goes through the buffer beam and the spring is slid onto the shaft of the hook. The wire retains the spring on the shaft of the hook. Tim

You might need Weinert 8643 square sockets for the buffer beam. Tim

Well fitted one piece on a Br50 without the spring mechanism, intention being purely cosmetic. Am satisfied with the result. Shame abt the plastics next to it guess they have to go too. Erkut Baykal
