Weathering (but not only) of some Bay. & FS wagons Dear all,
in recent times I got a frenzy about some Bayerische wagen I bought some time ago on ebay... Here the results. Beyond weathering, a couple of them has been modified to install NEM sockets for close-coupling. The Italian wagon is a kit from a local brass-kit firm, instead. I back-dated it to Epoche III lettering (the kit is provided with Epoche IV decals) through a decals cut-and-paste and use of the 'decal bank'...
Hereunder the final results... Hop eyou'll enjoy them!

Nice work Andrea, how did you acheive the silver effect, was it already pre-painted or did you apply it yourself?
Dave.

Andrea,
Many thanks for posting these fine works.

Dave,
the silver effect is an acrilic paint. I applied it with a Tamiya airbrush & compressor. Of course the brass has been pretreated with a primer: I found a rather good one originally intended for cars! If you need further details about the painting I will be glad to give them to you.
Alan,
I hope I'll be able to post some other works in the near future.
Regards,
Andrea
