I asked Malcolm,how he worked out his prices. He uses the Weinert catologue price and then uses the following formula. Which he sent to me via Email. Quote. The current commercial exchange rate is around 1.43€, but I am lucky if I get around 1.38€ from my bank plus they charge me a minimum of £9.00 to transfer funds to Germany, sometimes it can be as much as £25.00, depending on amount transferred! Plus Weinert charge a minimum of 12.50€ per shipment! My "exchange" rate is 1.35€ . Quote. Exchange rate as of 26/10/07. Not quite the same playing field for a UK retailer as compared to a German one. Plus of course his Superb service. David
