Brawa

Liliput

DRG BR71
Hi Tim,
Are you talking about this from the 2007 new items or a different locomotive?
http://www.brawa.de/Produkte/H0/Lokomotiven/Elektrolokomotiven/43054-eg1.html
I think that Brawa will bring out the Om21 with brakemans cab, and the K.W.St.E G12 (DRG 58.5)
Marklin will shock us all and bring out a Bayern BB 11 (DRG 98.7)
Cheers
John
John.
I only make predictions which appear in manufacturer's websites  thus I can blame them for not producing the goods.
However this is merely a fishing trip, someone else must have some gossip.
Brawa will produce two new locomotives if past experience is anything to go by. Hopefully another K.W.St.E. outline steam locomotive.
MaTrix will be interesting simply because it will give some insight into their thinking under the new ownership. This years new Items were really developed under the old management.
Roco remains a wildcard given their recent ownership change.
Who knows what the thinking of Fleischmann will be! But again they may follow the crowd and just have a lot of repaints.
Given the current decline of the market, I would expect very few "new" items just a lot of repaints/sets.
Hopefully someone will bring out a set of 10 DRG boxcars (like MaTrix's 10 DRG O 10's recently).
John
Roco's new BR01.

Maerklin to revamp the BR64 and a new ET608?
Now Tim,
You are not allowed to get my hopes up over the class 24/64 issue. Yes it is logical for MaTrix to bring it out, but given that Roco has done it, it s doubtful.
MaTrix will not do a rebuild of the class 86!
Look for the K.W.St.E. c to be released as a DRG class 18,1.
John
Only 4 months until we find out :-)
Well I notice that Huenerbein are again advertising Alphatrains so I live in hope that I might yet see a decent 184 next year...the competition shouldn't be too hard to beat with the ancient Trix and Lima models to compete against.
Incidentally they are being advertised as Alphatrains and not LSM as I saw reported somewhere else - suppose its academic really as they all come from the Modern Gala factory.
Also noticed Kato are re-releasing the DR Vt18.

Hello
In the German railway-forum 'Drehscheibe-Online' they are writing the new reconstructed Roco 'Altbau BR 01' is available now, with some pics:

In the first reply you can find a link to an Ebay-auction with large pics of the model.
So you can better evaluate now what you can exspect from the above mentioned DRG-version of the BR 01 in 2008.
Dirk
Also on 'Drehscheibe-Online' Brawa to release a preuß. S 9 (DRG Class 14.0) Now this to me does seem strange considering that there was only one built. At least the preuß. S 8 had two examples.
And also some polish coachs epoch III & IV

Noooooo! My poor wallet!
Well, the S9 is now fact, pictures on Brawa's German-only site (www.brawa.de)
John
there was only one built.
I think that only one was transferred to the DRG, 98 others were war reparations. Great model for Ep1.
Yeah well what can I say.
99 built but only one made to the DRG.
Still if Brawa's previous models are anything to go by, it will be an outstanding locomotive.
John
Need to potentially broaden my interests!
