Precision Strassenbahn Systems
While looking on the web for a supplier of model tram (girder) rail, I came across Precision Strassebahn System on the Proto:87 Stores site. Has any body got any experiance of using it? And are there any suppliers of same or similar in UK / Europe? In case you're wondering I need to relay about 1.5m of inset track on my 0e layout and am not realy satisfied with code 100 with plaster / embossed plastic inlays.

Hi Trevor, Have you had any luck getting hold of these guys? I sent them an E Mail last week, but have had no response. Cheers John

Hi John, I got an e-mail reply from them witin a few hours. (via their web site to) The rail is by the looks of it is not suitable for my use as it is 0.080 inch wide (2.032mm) 0.028 high(0.711 mm). The groove / slot is 0.26inch (0.66mm) wide and 0.015 inch (0.381mm) deep. So to use it I would have to relay the rest of the layout & re-wheel all the stock! It is designed for P87 standards, so the use of other standards is going to be a big risk. Another problem is that as it is supplied in straight or pre-curved sections (and the curves are "Tram" radius) so a rail bender would have to be made. Hope this helps you, but I am still looking.
