NZ fathers day Sunday 7 September
When I left for work this morning, there was a red cross parcel from lokshop on my deck.
When I got home, it had been opened and my delightful daughters had decided what they would give me for Fathers day on Sunday.
Now there was not a lot in it, a set of 3 talbot ballast cars, a set of 3 box cars, 2 stock wagons, 1 talbot ballast car and 1 open wagon. Not a Marklin wagon to be seen!
Being 4 and 7 my daughters decided that quantity is the key, so they have stolen the two sets of 3 wagons.
Today it all seems a little unfair to me, I want to play with them now!
But lots to look forward to on Sunday. Some trains from my children, breakfast in bed (I can but dream of this), being taken out for lunch (of course I will have to pay for it!).

Lucky you John, it's father day here on Saturday and my wife has just pocketed over 50% of my annual bonus. The rest went to Modelbahn Kramm. :wink:
