new year 2008
Peroni, Jim Beam, and Absinthe (I would be interested in a logical explanation as to why I even bought it, let alone drunk it! ) makes a person rather philosophical at this stage of the new year. Will the Marklin AC 3 rail survive? :) Will 3 rail be replaced by2 rail AC or DC? :8) Will analogue 2 rail or 3 rail survive? Will all locomotives come pre installed with full sound chips in the near future? The only common thread to all this is, when the Nuremberg toy fair rolls around ever year, on the one hand we will be happy, but (and it’s a big but) on one side we will be “wowed” by the new releases, and disappointed by the things that we want that have still to be released. A happy new year to everyone, and may Nuremberg bring something for your layout. John, Thinks its time for bed! :!:

John, My, my, my - that is quite a combination! Whew! My dear wife happens to be allergic to everything that makes up Absinthe, so we do not have it in the house :8) . However....the Jim Beam..... .... However, one does wax philosophical this time of year and I like your range of thoughts. I personally hope that "analogue" "3-rail" survives - it is all I have  ! That said, I would like to see all possibilities flourish. It makes it harder for the manufacturers that way, but, so...... And I can not wait for the new releases so I can turn the "Drool" mode ON! Sound chips...I have no opinion either way   ...nobody said I was not just a bit strange  Peace in this new year, Jim

Will all locomotives come pre installed with full sound chips in the near future? Oooh, please NOOOOOO!!! I don't know where you'd fit an EC88 or KT66 in your average HO loco anyway  Steph
