Need help - disassembling HO Roco OBB 1045
Hello to all, I hope somebody can help me with this animal... :? Roco Part-no. is #43530. I want to disassemble the model to see if decoder can be installed in the loco. I have tried from the below - no luck, 4 screws only hold wheelsets. There is one plastic plate on roof I was able to remove, and there are two screws, but nothing happens when I unscrew them. Can somebody help me take her apart? Thanks!

If I remember correctly the body eases off from the bottom if you tease it carefully as it is a tight fit. Its similar in construction to the SNCB serie 12 & theres not a lot of room for a decoder - the one I fitted sits just under the roof hatch. Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on.

Take off the handgrips along the doors. Then you should be able to lift the body
