Meininger bier & Thüringer Bratwurst
Yesterday I enjoyed some Meininger bier and a Bratwurst from Thüringen. Knowing that these fresh products had just been hauled all the way from Meiningen to the Black Forest by a 50 3501 made them taste twice as good. Isn't it strange how your taste buds can be influenced this way ?

I remember the first time I rode on an ICE 1 and went to the bistro car to have dinner. Imagine my horror when I found that the main choice was .......... New Zealand Lamb. I had not travelled half way around the world to get served something that I don’t even eat in NZ :evil: I did however enjoy the concept of having a beer on the platform :P John

thats correct Roger, I only eat beef, pork and seafood. And Dave, you have the countries wrong. Australia has the naked Shearer calender! John
