Lucky French modellers
Photo Miba. It has been the subject of quite heavy criticism in France, mainly due to the bad packaging which means that paint is scratched off the boiler on many models (the boiler is metal). The wheel flanges are also much deaper than really need be. De Prest, the distributors for France, have said that at least the packaging will be improved shortly.

Are there truly people who believe deep flanges are a positive selling point? Do they also own large estates in the Everglades? Jurgen
