jacq's VIII
All, sorry for the bad quality photo's in Jacq's VII, I blamed the camera but everybody else said it was me Here some photo's with the start of the last module and random photo's. All is gearing up to the last part of preparation for Cologne and Warley this year. > The base for the last module. Here only the "feldbahn" will run into the forrests. > The "Schmiederei" in the green > A view of the balast silo > Lower end exit configuration > Upper wheat mill with water run off added. > The waterfall from the uppermill. The feldbahn loks, just loose bits and pieces. The decoders arrived which fit in the loco's without obstructing the cabin free look through. >

Fantastic!
Jacq, your modules look fantastic, so real! Which tracks did you use? RocoLine?

I blamed the camera but everybody else said it was me I think you were distracted by those lightly clad ladies who hover over your pictures. (courtesy of image shack,'s sponsors I presume) But seriously, your scenery is spectacular. I hope I get the opportunity to see 'the real thing'.

Jan, rail is Rocoline with only the large radii points, weathered with humbrol paint with the brush. Rail and ties are treated seperate. Alan, I think is is more the influence of the working liquid, consumed after a night hard work on the layout. The last preparations for the show in Cologne is in full swing, a too long list with what's still to be done. Let me know if you can make it, maybe I can arrange something. Mail me on details. Jacq

Tim, fiddleyard modules are 1,20m x 0,50m derived from cutting a (4'0" x 8'0") sheet. The sceniced modules are 1,20 m x 0,67m. The 0,67m is from the old layout's 1,20m depth minus the 0,50m and the valance legs size of 27mm x 27mm regards Jacq
