Hornby[Rivarossi] Pullmans
Has anybody else been stung by buying Hornby's Pullmans?The two sets 4031 and 4032 have four Lx sleepers in blue and cream,and a dining car in the same two colour finish.I never knew that these vehicles ever ran in this colour scheme,and all my books must be wrong,unless they are copies of modern refurbishments in the reborn services of the present time-but the Hornby blurb in the sales literature claims them to be suitable for Epoch II.It is so disappointing to watch Hornby get it wrong,but should I be surprised?It was largely because of them I moved into the accurate models the Gemans seem to make in the first place.All comments welcome.
