Can anyone recommend any please.
Thanks,

David,
There is
http://drehscheibe-online.ist-im-web.de/forum/index.php?0
and this
http://stummi.foren-city.de/
that I know of off the bat.
There will be more I am sure! :D

Don't forget the Eisenbahn Kurier (EK) forums at http://www.eisenbahn-kurier.de/foren/. There is some overlap of topics, but they are sufficiently different to make checking out both worthwhile.
Stummi can be good, but are more brand (Märklin) driven and basic than in the EK and DSO forums.

Here's one for narrow gauge fans

for the fans for kleinbahn ( austrian brand)

I liked your BR92 flotte!
I didn't know about the KMB Forum before.
Thanks!

I had a couple of experiences with Drehscheibe Online that I would like to share.
Remember I was on a quest to find the origins of the TCDD 56900 series of G12 loco's. I asked abt it on the Historische Bahn both in english and had the english version translated by Babelfish translator into German. I have to give credit to them the replies were perfect, all in english and I got what I wanted.
However, I posted, purely with sincere and good intentions a link of review of a loco that I thought might interest the German community in Modellbahn-Forum section. Boy, was I bashed! ( used babelfish to translate)
Seems like the sections is like a forum in itself. People are complaining abt the bashing going on in the Modellbahn-Forum section and are leaving because of this behavior. I have just checked today and saw one members post, saying goodby because of this reason.
I admit, the whole forum is huge and you have all sorts of people who can freely say whatever they want.

I have just had a couple of interesting interactions on http://www.drehscheibe-online.de/index.php, both very positive and interesting: I received very detailed answers to my questions, often within hours, sometimes as pm and sometimes in English! I felt though in one case a reluctance to engage in any other kind of railway related discourse, and in the other an unexpected sense of humour. Quite different to this forum where I feel that there is a lot more intercourse.
Regards.
Neil
