German N-scale for sale
I have the following German N-scale trains for sale. I accept personal checks and Paypal. I’m willing to trade, so If you have any surplus Era IV stuff send me your list. If you’d like to check my references, I’m “germantown_1” on that place that rhymes with “Feepay”. I would like to put these on Ebay Sunday night, so please respond promptly if interested. I can send pictures upon request. I charge only the cost of the box, postage and delivery confirmation for shipping. I can ship a single car for as little as $2.75 and as many as six via priority mail for $5.25. Unfortunately, I must collect sales taxes on any items sent to a New York State address. These items are located in the United States, I'll gladly ship overseas if you're willing to pay the shipping and payment can be arranged. Brian Hilgenberg FLEISCHMANN 8092 THREE-AXLE THIRD CLASS COACH (ERA II)- $15.00 A three-axle third-class coach with the round Deutsche Reichsbahn Eagle logo. The car and the box are in excellent condition. There is a green dot on the underframe, and it has body mounted couplers. I’m not sure how old it is. TWO ARNOLD 0332 SECOND CLASS “ALTBAU” COACHES (ERA III)- $30.00 Two models of Deutsche Bundesbahn Era III four-axle pre-war “Altbau” second class coaches. These are from the early seventies, and come with metal and plastic wheels and cardboard boxes with soft plastic covers. They are used, but in good condition with no broken parts. The destination signs read “Ulm”. One car has a red paint spot on the underframe as an identifying mark. ARNOLD 0153 “EILZUG GARNITUR, JAHRES SONDERZUG 1986” (ERA III)- $125.00 This is an Arnold boxed set of a fifties-era “Eilzug” train, containing a V200 diesel locomotive, two second class “ym” coaches and one first/second “ym” class coach. It was Arnold’s “Annual special-run set” for 1986 and represents a West German fast local train from the years 1954-1967. The locomotive is numbered V200 005 and features two large engine-room windows and raised chrome “DEUTSCHE BUNDESBAHN” lettering across the sides. The destination signs on the three coaches read “Nürnberg-Ansbach”. The set is in excellent condition, and has seen little use. The locomotive runs smoothly and features directional headlights on both ends. The cars too, are in excellent condition. The first/second class coach has paint flaws on one side (see photo) caused by the white velvet stuff from the box liner sticking to the car. Paper has been glued to the bottom of the liner to prevent further damage. The outer cardboard box has some wear. THREE ARNOLD 3220 SECOND CLASS D-ZUG COACHES (ERA IV)- $50.00 Three Deutsche Bundesbahn second class express coaches. They are painted green with the Era IV computer numbers introduced in 1968. These were made in the eighties, and are in excellent condition in their original boxes. There is some minor flaking of the silver paint on the window frames. ARNOLD 3278 BAGGAGE/CONTROL EILZUG COACH (ERA IV)- $35.00 A model of a type “ym” Eilzug Baggage/control cab car. The car is painted green with the Deutsche Bundesbahn Era IV computer numbers introduced in 1968. This car has second class seating, a baggage compartment and a control cab on one end for push-pull operation. This model has operating lights; three headlights when pushed or two tail lights when pulled. In excellent condition in its original box, one end of the box liner has cracked. TWO FLEISCHMANN THUNDERBOX COACHES (ERA III)- $25.00 Two Fleischmann two-axle “Thunderbox” coaches in Deutsche Bundesbahn Era III lettering. One is an 8061 first-class closed vestibule coach and the other an 8062 second-class open vestibule coach. They were bought in the early seventies and are used but in good condition with no broken parts. They come with their original boxes which are scuffed. Both cars are equipped with lighting kits; however they didn’t light when I -*test*-('")ed them. FLEISCHMANN 9166 R.H. DOUBLE-SLIP SWITCH- $30.00 This is a left-hand remote control double slip switch. It is in excellent condition and comes in its original box. It was used on a layout for a short while, but was not nailed, glued, painted or ballasted. The switch machine is light gray; it has not been used and the wire leads are uncut. NOTE: I bought this as a -*test*-('") for a T-trak module. While it worked reliably with my German trains, Tomix “Thomas” trains and some of my American trains had a tendency to derail going through them. FLEISCHMANN 9167 R.H. DOUBLE-SLIP SWITCH- $30.00 This is a right-hand remote control double slip switch. It is in excellent condition and comes in its original box. It was used on a layout for a short while, but was not nailed, glued painted or ballasted. The switch machine is black; it has not been used and the wire leads are uncut. NOTE: I bought this as a -*test*-('") for a T-trak module. While it worked reliably my German trains, Tomix “Thomas” trains and some of my American trains had a tendency to derail through over them.
