Thanks for the tip, David. I've just had an enjoyable wander around your website. I see a lot of progress in the last months. I like the idea of 'natural weathering'. Does that mean deposits originating from the Rugby cement works ?

David Ingram-Seal- 12-11-2006

Alan. The rain has a weathering effect on plastic painted models( outside in the summer months only ). The cement works may well be a modellers friend? I also weather nickle silver track the same way, putting it on the garage roof for several months. Thanks for your comments and hopefully the layout will progress steadily, but trying new construction method,s tends to be hit or miss. David

Signage being added to trackwork. Point lanterns by Weinert. Speed and distance markers downloaded samples. Trying to create some sort of atmosphere. Experimenting with different methods of ballasting for the pointwork, not happy with results so far. Regards, David

Thought that I should give some time to my Loco's. Adding superdetailing to this BR82. David

Dave Smith- 06-08-2007

Where do you get your detailling parts from, David. I need a few bits and pieces myself, not quite sure where to go! Espcially need a Giesl for a DR 65.10. I tried contacting Brawa, but no reply! Dave.
