DRG Video
I gather there is a good video showing DRG operations between the wars. Does anyone know what it's called and where you can get a copy?
DRG VideosHello Paul,
I can remember that films taken by Carl Bellinrodt have been re-issued some months ago. Do have a look on homepage of " Lok-Magazin" and search for the link to thei DVD programme or look for
www.bahnbuch.de( a specialized railway shop in Munich).
Best regards, Wolfgang
Paul,
Firstly, although you say video, I assume you mean DVD. There are a couple of possible titles from GeraMond.
Carl Bellingrodts Film - Schätze Band 1, which covers the period 1925-1950.
Die Reichsbahn in den 30er Jahren, which includes the centenary parade in Nürnberg as well as other topics from the period 1935 - 1943.
There is also Räder mussten rollen für den Sieg - Die Reichsbahn im Kriegseinsatz, which was filmed by a German officer in a railway operating regiment.
If you are interested in any of these, please send me a PM for further information.
Tony
Paul,
Die Reichsbahn in den 30er Jahren, which includes the centenary parade in Nürnberg as well as other topics from the period 1935 - 1943.

I have this one and it is very good. Good footage of Henschel Wegman train, BR05 as well as the parade in Nurnberg
Thanks guys, problem solved. I'm sure it's Die Reichsbahn in den 30er Jahren.
Odd though that an English forum produced the answer whereas a much bigger German forum didn't produce anything!
