A pictorial of a bit of everything from Dortmund:
Best pictures of layouts can be seen as Peter rightly puts it at :

We start off with new faces: Herr Gerd Kuswa
http://www.kuswa.de/
Brilliant job he has done on our etched TCDD plates

Next : The Boss

and bits from his lovely layout Grafenwalde:

Being a steam shed lover the Modellbahnfreunde Maifelt's layout was the winner for me

Next was BSW-FZG Harzquer- und Brockenbahn Wernigerode groups layout, the docks was unbelievable

The polish layout. Rails seem to be the forefather of Maerklin:

The Americans, Hub Division, they like it big !

Talking about minimal layouts

Some other stuff that I found quite interesting:
..is the type of shadow stations used. We all know Tims, and to be honest I couldn't comprehend of how it worked not until I saw it with my own eyes.
here are 2 interesting types:

The I scalers

Blast Furnaces were in this year
The Z scale

and Trix's

The Brass big Boy and cab interior

American outline Micrometakit

KM modellbau's Br 85

Workshops were everywhere, here is Tim's Workshop, one of his mates doing a bit of weathering on a loco.

Seminars were done all thru the day, damn my German

and Finally a view from our hotel room :D

Dortmund was a true once in a lifetime experince for me. The best part was the visit to the Dahlhausen Eisenbahn Museum which I am still compiling the photo's.
Cheers to All
