Dortmund Intermodellbau
I shall be at Dortmund Intermodellbau this year. I know Tim's layout "Grafenwalde" will be there and am looking forward to meet him in person. My question is; where can I find a list of the layouts which is going to be exhibited in the fair? Like who or what club is attending ? or is it too early to ask? Erkut Baykal

Go to http://www.moba-deutschland.de/imb2008/indx.htm and click on the Teilnehmer and Hallenplan links. For those not able to go, Moba-Deutschland publishes daily Berichts at the same URL with LOTS of pictures. I've been saving them and they now grace my screensaver. Some really firstclass layouts. Have fun. Peter

Thanks Peter, Is there anybody body else from the form who will be there? Erkut Baykal

I shall be there on the Friday morning. Perhaps we should fix a time to meet and admire Tim's layout?! Can't spend too long though - the wife will be out shopping in Dortmund!

Great Paul, I will be there friday morning too and hopefully spend the whole day there. Just name a time in front of Tim's Layout. Erkut Baykal

Friday 11.00h at Grafenwald. I'll try to be there Can't spend too long though - the wife will be out shopping in Dortmund! That means you have plenty of time. Otherwise you're waiting at the shop windows anyway. Jacq

We finaly booked our hotel in Dortmund. The booking was quite funny. We were asking the guy at the registration desk that we want a double room at the back side of the hotel. He was insisting that the rooms in front are better, and with a whole lot panoromic view of Dortmund and at the same price! But we were insisting on a back room. At the end he gave up, probably said; I do not have time to waste with a couple of nutcases and gave us the back room. Reason:  Erkut Baykal

I've just booked my flights. I intend to spend a day at the exhibition, and a day trainspotting. I'm flying in and out of Heathrow/Düsseldorf, as it works out cheapest, even with train tickets from the North West of England taken into account. Now, I've just got to choose which day to trainspot and which day to go to the Intermodellbau...

I'm flying in and out of Heathrow/Düsseldorf, Best of luck if you're flying out of T5 ! Have a good & safe trip anyway.

I'm happy to report I'm neither flying with BA or flying out of T5! Lufhansa and T2 for me :)
