DCC Question
In an attempt to repair a fairly new E 110 by Minitrix, I have been told that the DCC setting from the factory now limits the speed and Analog speed cannot be compared to DCC speed. WHen this engine gets to 65mph, it suddenly stops. Can someone please explain this rational? I have dcc engines that I run and have not had this problem ever, nor have I heard of anyone else with this issue.
It sounds like a corrupt speed table, Pierre. If the last (or last few) CV's in the speed table have somehow been set to zero, the loco will stop when it reaches those speed steps. You need to get the speed curve checked if you have a way of doing that.
I don't know if this has anything to do with the issue of Minitrix' decoder parameters, but even if it is, you should be able to reset those CV's. That's the first thing I would check.

DCC Question
Thanks Jurgen,
I do not have a way to check but what I have already done is have another chip ordered. If this does not work, I may have to send it back and pay someone to fix it. Coincidentaly, Another Elok did this also in the meantime. I will post my findings when the chip comes in in a few weeks. Thanks again Jurgen.
