Bemo 4 wheel coach query
I recently bought a Bemo "3002 821 DB KBi 731" HOe 4 wheel coach which is marked up as based at Beilstein with a REV of "Can 8.9.64". I take it Beilstein is/was the one on the 750mm line from Heilbronn to Marbach, but is/was 'Can', Bad Cannstadt, and is the date realistic? My main puzzle is with the end balconies. I take it that the doors were part circular, sliding outside the balcony wall, but how did the 2 stanchions attached come in to play? On the model, which has open doors diagonally opposite each other, the 'open' stanchion is cut longer than the 'closed' one and this longer one does not fit under the balcony roof. Does this coach by any fluke still exist? A Google search only turns up the Bemo model.
