Any trolley bus overhead wires in H0?
Are any trolley bus overhead wires, even decorative, ever produced currently in H0? A lot of decorative trolley buses are currently produced in H0, but what about the trolley bus overhead wires?

Marks has announced this year an operational (with Faulhaber motors) trolley bus system in N- so I have to ask, whether is anybody going to start such system in H0?

Nicholas Mayer- 01-27-2007

Faller did it years ago... in H0 and N, if I remember correctly. Eheim did trolleybusses too with Brawa in the late 50'/60' also in H0 and N. Catenary was in most cases supplied by Brawa. http://search.ebay.de/trolleybus http://search.ebay.de/masten_W0QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1 http://www.teeschmid.ch/Verkauft/ http://www.87thscale.info/eheim.htm http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bruce.lake/links_page.htm http://www.obus-es.de/modelle.htm O-bus forum You may try www.sommerfeldt.de or www.viessmann-modell.com

The matter is just. that, alas, Brawa has discontinued its beatiful H0 trolleybus system some years ago- that's just why I have been needed to start this thread and ask the questions in it.

Daniel, I'm afraid that if you want to model German Obus (Oberleitung Bus) you'll have to scratch-built it. Those Brawa masts were like toys anyway, and crude representations IMHO. There is a lot of sources on the web regarding Obus so try to find catenary prototype you like... and make it yourself

So there is neither an operational nor a decorative trolleybus catenary in H0 in stock now?

John Brassfield- 02-05-2007

I guess you're all looking for this ? http://www.stahlhausgmbh.de/frameset.htm?spielwaren_neuheiten.php http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TthIGEfaAmg

YES!!! THANKS!!! Are these new trolleybus items in production now?

John Brassfield- 02-06-2007

Are these new trolleybus items in production now? Yes , those guys in Solingen say they can deliver your order in about 3 weeks. The Trolleybus itself comes from a company called TrainPCB from Holland. The Faller car system sure offers the coolest effects, as seen on the video.

What about crossings on one level of trolleybus (only operational trolleybus catenary, not decorative one for non- operational trolleybus models is in production?) and tram catenary in H0?
